Job Description

Gridworks is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for Large Scale Solar Energy Projects in Albuquerque, NM. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, EIT certification, and at least 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience, particularly in foundation design. Proficiency in geotechnical software is required. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in geotechnical engineering analysis and design, as well as a solid understanding of key structural concepts for foundation designs.

You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
• EIT certification required; working towards a P.E. license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on foundation design for driven, helical, screw, and equipment foundations
• Proficiency in geotechnical software, including PLAXIS 2D/3D, PYPile, L-Pile, A-Pile, Group, GeoStudio, SWMM, and HYDROCAD
