Job Description:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that involve processing and analyzing data, supporting groundwater modeling activities, and preparing technical reports. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project databases, assisting groundwater modelers with data input, processing, and analysis, and developing water budgets and hydrogeologic conceptual models. Additionally, you will use spreadsheets, databases, GIS, and graphing software to create and manipulate data files, maps, and plots. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Key Responsibilities:
Compiling, processing, and analyzing hydrogeologic data, including field data
Creating and maintaining project databases
Assisting groundwater modelers with data input, processing, and analysis
Developing water budgets and hydrogeologic conceptual models
Using spreadsheets, databases, GIS, and graphing software to create and manipulate data files, maps, and plots
Preparing data summaries, presentations, and technical reports/memos
Participating in client meetings/teleconferences to present program results and recommendations
