Geologist, Engineer, or Environmental Scientist




Ford & Associates, Inc., a Honolulu based environmental consulting company is seeking a geologist, engineer, or environmental scientist. Our technical services include environmental due diligence, soil and groundwater investigations, and remediation oversight and management. In this position, you will perform field activities including soil and groundwater investigations, oversight of drilling and monitoring well installation, management of remediation activities, and project management including report writing and editing.




Qualifications

BS in geology, engineering, science or related degree, advanced degree preferred5+ years of environmental consulting experience Experience with conducting and implementing environmental investigations and/or remediation Experience with regulation interpretation, technical guidance, and sampling protocols Ability to succeed in fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel to client project sitesCommunication, both verbal and written of technical informationAbility to work efficiently both as a part of a team and independentlyProfessional certifications, familiarity with Hawaii state and federal regulations are a plus
