Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain permit-related data in water quality databases.

• Collaborate with permit applicants, consultants, operators, and government agencies.

• Issue permit coverages and manage permit-related data.

• Process and upload permit documents and data into databases.

• Provide technical assistance to construction and industrial stormwater permittees.

• Review permit documents for technical accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Assess data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

• Prepare final permit correspondence and documentation.

• Handle a high volume of calls, emails, and records.

Requirements
• A total of six (6) years of experience in environmental analysis, control, or planning.

• Experience working with and entering environmental data into databases.

• Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

• Ability to explain complex technical information to the public.

• Experience completing, submitting, or reviewing permit documents.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience with Ecology's databases such as PARIS, Facility Site, and WQWeb Portal.
