Job Summary
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategy, and growth of the business. The GM will drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and lead a team of professionals to achieve short- and long-term goals. This role requires a results-driven leader with deep industry knowledge and connections across the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to drive growth, profitability, and global market expansion.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily business operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost control to optimize profitability and long-term sustainability.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion strategies to enhance market presence.
• Product Innovation: Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to drive innovation in high-pressure valve and control solutions.
• Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and brand recognition.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards relevant to the industry.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the mining, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of valve systems, mining operations, and paste backfill technologies would be advantageous.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence in a global market.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.
• Must be willing to operate out of Sunshine Coast Region (Baringa) and travel when required.
