General Laborer

McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a General Laborer in Rose Hill, NC. The role involves preventative maintenance tasks such as greasing machinery, adjusting conveyor belts, and performing grounds work. Candidates should have outdoor manufacturing experience. McGill Environmental Systems is a biodegradable waste recycling company; composting residuals and byproducts from industrial, municipal, commercial and agribusiness sources. These materials are used as feedstocks to manufacture a line of branded compost products for the professional landscape, Turfgrass, and erosion control markets.

We are currently seeking a general laborer to join our team at our facility in Delway, NC. This position will focus on preventative maintenance. Specific tasks include:
• Greasing all moving parts on conveyors, screens, etc.
• Ensuring all conveyor belts are tracked correctly and adjust as needed
• Repair and replacement of metal skirting around machinery
• Adjustments of various mechanical parts
• Grounds work as needed
• Some skid steer operation (will train)

Prior outdoor manufacturing experience is helpful. Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen. McGill offers competitive pay, as well as a full benefit package to include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, disability, and paid time off.
