Green Gardeners was established in 2012 and is a small but rapidly growing gardening and grounds maintenance company striving to become the number 1 gardening company in Birmingham and Solihull.

We provide regular gardening services, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, border maintenance, pressure washing and gutter cleaning, to both commercial and residential customers. Some of our commercial customers include Starbucks, Cadbury World, several children’s nurseries and colleges, charities, and The Arcadian Centre

This is a hands-on role for a gardener who is looking for a challenge with a small but fast growing company. You will be part of a team of 3 visiting customers providing a regular gardening service for them. As you progress we would be looking for you to take on the responsibility of manging a team of 3 in your own van

Due to the nature of the role, you will be working longer hours during the busier months in the summer and autumn and shorter hours during the winter months.

· Dealing with the gardening requirements of the customers that you visit

· Ensuring the smooth running of the business

· Representing the company and our values and standards

Requirements

· Full driving license

Previous experience of managing people

· Gardening qualifications or experience desirable but not essential

· Computer literate specifically word documents and excel

· Good communication skills

· Ability to problem solve and use initiative

Misc

· You will be required to travel to a designated start point for the day's work which could be in Edgbaston or Solihull.

· Some flexibility of hours and days of work
