Job Description
Lancashire Wildlife Trust is seeking a Fundraising Manager in Preston, UK, to enhance their supporter base through membership recruitment, legacy promotion, and individual giving. The role involves securing high-value donations and engaging supporters to foster long-term connections. The position offers a friendly, flexible environment with 28 days of holiday and opportunities to make a significant impact on wildlife conservation in the North West.
An exciting opportunity for an exceptional Fundraising Manager to join our team and grow our success.
We’re looking for a passionate and strategic fundraiser to grow and nurture our supporter base. In this role, you’ll lead on membership recruitment, legacy promotion, and individual giving, while also playing a key role in securing high-value donations. With strong foundations already in place, you’ll have the opportunity to build on our success and create lasting impact.
You’ll be the driving force behind engaging and retaining supporters, ensuring they feel connected and valued. With excellent planning skills and a sharp eye for return on investment, you’ll oversee campaigns that inspire action and generate essential funding. Working within a small but dedicated team, you’ll shape supporter journeys that turn one-time donors into lifelong champions of nature.

We offer 28 days holidays plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service. A friendly and flexible working environment with the chance to be a part of the largest nature conservation body in the area, working together to improve our region for nature as well as engaging and inspiring people to connect and take action for wildlife.
