Job Description

Unspecified Company is seeking an experienced UK-based freelance fundraiser and grant writer specializing in CIC funding for neurodiverse children's education. The role requires a strong track record in securing funding, particularly within the UK charity landscape. The position allows for remote work, but applicants must be based in the UK. Ideal candidates will have experience with neurodiversity or SEND projects and a passion for social impact and education.
Specialist in CIC Funding for Neurodiverse Children’s Education

Are you a highly skilled grant writer and fundraiser with a proven track record of success supporting UK-based Community Interest Companies (CICs)? We are seeking a UK-based professional with extensive experience in securing funding for education and inclusion projects, ideally within the neurodiversity or SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) sector.

About Us:
We are a pioneering CIC focused on providing alternative education and therapeutic support for neurodivergent children in the UK. Our mission is to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where children can thrive through creativity, connection, and personalised learning pathways.

What We’re Looking For:
• A seasoned fundraiser and grant writer with a high success rate securing funding from trusts, foundations, and public sector grants (e.g. Arts Council, Sport England, National Lottery, local authority funds).
• Strong understanding of the UK charity and CIC landscape, particularly in education, inclusion, and child wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with our small team to identify funding opportunities, write compelling applications, and track/report outcomes.
• Bonus if you have lived or professional experience with neurodiversity, autism, ADHD, or alternative education models.

This is a freelance role with flexible hours, ideally suited to someone passionate about social impact and education. Remote working is fine, but you must be UK-based and able to navigate UK funders and CIC regulations with ease.

To Apply:
Please send your CV, details of your success rates, and 2–3 examples of past projects... We’d love to hear why this work resonates with you.
