Job Responsibilities:
• Produce high-quality visual impact assessments under the guidance of the Visual Resources Practice Lead
• Coordinate tasks and contributions from a diverse technical team to achieve project goals
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide planning and permitting support for power generation and transmission projects
• Perform fieldwork that may involve navigating uneven terrain and handling equipment up to 50 pounds
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in producing or supporting visual impact assessments
• Strong research, analysis, and writing skills to effectively communicate findings
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and ensure timely completion
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Experience in power generation, electrical transmission, or utilities industry
Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience with visual impact assessments under the National Environmental Policy Act and state environmental review criteria
• Familiarity with federal agencies' methods for assessing visual effects and ability to apply them in practice
• Proficiency with tools such as DSLR cameras, Autodesk 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience in shadow flicker analyses for wind energy projects
