I am seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join a Finance team in the Oil and Gas sector.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, providing insights for decision-making, and ensuring the financial health of the organisation.
This role requires a strong background in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, with a preference for candidates experienced in the Oil and Gas industry.
Your new role
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decisionmaking.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including variance analysis.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimise financial processes and improve cost efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
What you'll need to succeed
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like CA / CPA / ACA preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a preference for Oil and Gas industry exposure.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong understanding of industryspecific financial metrics and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data clearly.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced, crossfunctional environment.
• High attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills.
