Overview

Graham Packaging Company is looking for a Forklift Operator based in Bradford, PA. 3rd shift 10:54pm to 7am.

Shift has the potential to change to 12hrs or 8hrs shifts based on the business needs.

Pay: $20.90/hr with $500 sign-on bonus!!!

Additional $1.25 shift differential.

Weekly Pay and Benefits Effective Day One!

The primary duties of a Forklift Operator include:
• Perform product handling and lift truck operating duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods.
• Supply production lines with materials and move finished goods to the warehouse.
• Complete line driver reports accurately, showing locations and quantities of raw materials and finished goods.
• Assist production line employees during breaks and lunchtimes.
• Follow all safety, health, quality GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform safety inspections on lift trucks and report malfunctions.
• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Review daily production schedules and coordinate material supply.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and produced.
• Manage finished goods and production scrap, ensuring proper storage and documentation.
• Participate in physical inventory counts.
• Ensure production lines are stocked with necessary supplies and pallets are transported appropriately.
• Assist in stock handling and trailer loading when needed.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of materials and finished goods, including quality inspections.
• Follow forklift procedures and safety checklists.
• Report damaged goods and communicate shift and machine totals with supervisors and other operators.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Help with break relief and material movement tasks.
• Ensure proper packaging, stacking, and storage of finished products.
• Limited travel may be required.Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.

Essential skills include:
• Regular, punctual attendance.
• Computer skills and typing proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
