About the Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Forest Conservation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff and managing forests in assigned counties or multi-county areas.

Main Duties:
• Develop and implement forest management plans to achieve maximum productivity and sustainability
• Conduct site assessments and evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with landowners, stakeholders, and other agencies to develop and implement effective forest conservation strategies
• Analyze data and prepare reports to inform decision-making and program development

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in forestry, natural resources, or a related field
• Proven experience in forest management, conservation, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
