Job Description

Catch Foundation is seeking a Forest Conservation Incharge in India to manage plantation and maintenance projects. Responsibilities include project reporting, monitoring survival rates, conducting site visits, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control. The role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale environmental initiatives with a focus on measurable impact. Candidates with an agriculture or horticulture background are preferred. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Catch Foundation is an NGO dedicated to environmental protection. Our core initiatives include raising awareness of cleanliness in surrounding areas, segregating dry and wet waste at source, increasing city green spaces, and reducing the use of single-use plastics.

Qualification: Agriculture / Horticulture background preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage assigned plantation and maintenance projects under CVSP and CTI implementation.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all assigned projects, including progress, activities, and field observations.
- Monitor and improve project survival rates in coordination with project and maintenance teams.
- Maintain regular updates in the project management app, ensuring all activities are logged accurately.
- Conduct site visits, monitor execution quality, and support reporting managers with field insights.
- Create and maintain complete project records, documentation, and activity logs.
- Review and approve or reject requests related to data changes, activity modifications, and field updates.
- Conduct periodic reporting audits and site audits to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- Update quarterly survival rate assessments and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Support preparation of monthly project reports for management review.
- Oversee attendance management of field teams assigned under projects.
- Monitor material quality at site and support quality control checks for project inputs.
- Escalate operational challenges and support corrective action implementation.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
