Food Systems Specialist

InsideHigherEd is seeking a Food Systems Specialist for a full-time Lecturer position in Agrofood Systems in Lexington, KY. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing educational programs, mentoring students, and collaborating with faculty and staff. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in agrofood systems and a passion for teaching and research.
• *The Role of a Lecturer:**

A Lecturer in Agrofood Systems plays a critical role in the education and development of the next generation of agricultural professionals.

As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in agrofood systems, developing and leading workshops, training sessions, and other educational programs, and mentoring students in their academic pursuits.

You will work closely with faculty, students, and staff to achieve program goals, including the development of new curriculum and the expansion of existing programs. Your scholarly activities may include course development, publication of reviewed articles related to pedagogy, and program leadership through serving as the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
