The Common Market is a leading organization in the Great Lakes region, dedicated to connecting communities with local food from sustainable family farms. Our mission is to foster a fair and accessible food system, promoting healthy eating habits and economic growth for farmers and consumers alike.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Great Lakes Chapter, overseeing the operations of our food distribution hub. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of non-profit management, a commitment to community engagement, and expertise in sustainable agriculture practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency
• Oversee daily operations, including logistics, procurement, sales, and customer outreach
• Build Strong Relationships with Local Farmers, Food Producers, and Community Organizations
• Drive Fundraising Efforts through Grant Writing and Donor Relations
• Ensure Compliance with Food Safety Regulations and Organizational Policies
• Represent The Common Market at Community Events and Conferences

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or related field
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in nonprofit leadership or a related sector
• Proven Track Record of Successful Fundraising and Grant Management
