Job Description

Sustain UK Ltd is hiring a Food Growing and Networks Officer in London to manage community food gardens, conduct workshops, and engage in campaigns. The role involves administrative duties, project support, event planning, and research. It is a part-time position (28 hours/week) funded until August 2026. Applicants should be change-makers interested in sustainable food initiatives.
Sustain are recruiting for a Food Growing and Networks Officer with an interest in food growing to join our Capital Growth team.

This role will be vital to the running of London’s largest network of community food gardens, managing a programme of workshops and events as well as engaging people in campaigns and activities. The role will also support the wider London programmes of Sustain, including our work on Sustainable Food Places and Good Food Local. Your varied range of tasks will include general administrative duties, project support, event planning and management, communications, data management and research alongside administrative duties.

This role is part funded by the City Bridge Foundation and is 28 hours per week / 4 days per week, for a fixed term until 31August 2026.
