Floral Greenhouse Technician Year-Round Full-Time Work

Ag Jobs is hiring a Floral Greenhouse Technician for full-time, year-round work in Plymouth, MA. Responsibilities include planting, weeding, harvesting, and preparing flowers for delivery. What you'll do: Support our team of greenhouse technicians and growers to bring our amazing grown product to customers throughout the 5 state area. This means you'll plant, weed, harvest, clear flower beds, and prepare product for delivery alongside this fast paced-team.

Crops you could work with: lilies, gerbera daisies, cyclamen, begonias, tulips, poinsettias, etc. (We're growing millions of stems a year.)

This is not gardening. This physical job is like a fun combination of landscaping, farming and manufacturing meaning you will on your feet for most of the shift.

When you'll work: Rotating shifts: Week 1 - Monday through Friday, Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

Hours: May through August and November through February 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, September through October and March through April 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

"Please note that there is no set end time for the day. The end time will depend on when all tasks are completed, including any end-of-day items."

Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs. Please be aware that during peak times, particularly around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, and Mother's Day, you may be required to work overtime and on days that are typically your time off. These busy periods may demand flexibility in your schedule.

Pay range: $18.50/hr-$20.50/hr

• Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and ability to work in a hot environment. (This is in a greenhouse.)
• Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs
• Repetitive heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more
• Past experience is a plus.

Pay Frequency:
• Bi weekly or Twice monthly
