Flora Specialist

Aurecon is seeking a Flora Specialist in Singapore to conduct field surveys, tree assessments, and support Environmental Impact Assessments. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 3 years of ecological experience, and be an ISA Certified Arborist. In this position you will join our Singapore environment & planning business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’

• Conduct field surveys focused on flora and tree assessments
• Perform tree inventory, condition assessments, and species identification
• Support and contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related reports
• Collect, analyze, and document ecological data in line with project requirements
• Provide recommendations on vegetation management, conservation, and mitigation measures
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project standards

• *What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ecological work, with a focus on flora
• ISA Certified Arborist (required)
• Proven experience in conducting fieldwork, particularly flora or tree surveys
• Strong knowledge of plant identification and ecological assessment methodologies
• Experience supporting or preparing Environmental Impact Assessments is preferred
