Job Description

VirtualVocations is hiring a Fisheries Economist to enhance sustainable fisheries management through economic research and analysis. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with staff to provide economic expertise and advice

Develop economic research for social and economic impact analysis relevant to marine resource management

Compile existing economic data and identify gaps for new data collection strategies

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in natural resource economics, applied economics, or related field, or M.Sc. with 3 years of experience

Training or experience in microeconomic statistical modeling

Proficiency with statistical software such as R-Programming, Stata, SAS, or SQL

Experience with reproducible research
