About the Role:
The Financial Structuring Analyst plays a crucial role in providing financial modeling, project valuation, and structuring deals for BESS projects. This will be an internal and external facing role focused on providing financial guidance and support to our sales and commercial operations teams.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain BESS financial models for renewable energy projects, including debt/equity structuring, tax incentives, and project sales
• Run financial models for external customers and partner with direct sellers and application engineers to communicate full package
• Support negotiations of sales contracts by providing financial guidance and optimizing financial performance
• Conduct economic valuations to assess the feasibility and profitability of projects
• Analyze market trends, such as interest rates and tax laws, to mitigate risks and optimize financial strategies
• Work cross-functionally with teams like project development, engineering, procurement, and sales to align financial strategies
• Develop customer facing levelized cost of storage sales tool for on the fly sample modeling during the selling process
• Manage 3rd party techno economic-modeling relationships to produce detailed independent consultant reporting and client engagement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong financial acumen and advanced modeling skills.
• Knowledge of renewable energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Customer service mindset and ability to effective communicate to external and internal stakeholders
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with project finance and capital markets.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets, conduct sensitivity analyses, and develop scenarios for financial forecasting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with overlapping timelines.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience.

Travel
• Local Travel: 10-25%
• Overnight/North America: 10-25%

Working Conditions
• Office Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Customer/Partner Locations - Employee may visit customer or partner locations that may be comprised of office, manufacturing floor, laboratory environments and construction sites depending on the location and reason for visit.
