We are seeking an Investment Solutions Specialist to join our team at First Interstate Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for providing non-bank investment solutions to meet the long-term investment needs of our customers within our market area.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a field related to investments and/or equivalent job experience with the ability to pass required examinations. Previous experience in investment sales is also preferred.

You will work closely with potential investment customers to develop financial profiles and identify areas of opportunity to deliver investment solutions that best fit their needs. This will involve maintaining required documentation, conducting annual reviews of customer relationships, and analyzing customer data to inform your recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with groups and read and interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to investments.

You will also need to have strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate interest and gains on investments, commissions, discounts, percentages, and penalties. Additionally, you should be able to adapt to the unique desires of individuals and offer a variety of investment strategies designed to meet their expressed needs.

A series 7 and 66 securities license and State of Montana Life, Disability, and Variable Contracts Insurance licenses are required for this position.
