Financial Analyst (Banking and Financial Services)

Russell Tobin is seeking a Financial/Operations Analyst for a large Investment Management firm in Baltimore, MD. The role involves cost analysis, financial status assessment, month-end client valuation, and resolving accounting errors. Candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience in finance or accounting are encouraged to apply. The position offers a pay rate of $27-28/hour and is contractor-based.

Pay Rate Range: $27-28/hour

Responsibilities:

· Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations

· Determine financial status and analyze forecast results

· Perform month-end client valuation for assigned funds

· Research and assess offshore and domestic fund options

· Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation

· Prepare profit and loss models

Qualifications:

· Recently Graduated/Experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields (6 months to 2 years)

· Advanced spreadsheet skills (PowerBI/Tableau/SQL is a plus)

· Strong attention to detail

· Communication skills

· Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
