Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Capital Markets Manager to lead and support our efforts in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex financing transactions. This role will play a critical part in the company’s growth, with a focus on tax equity, project finance, and capital markets execution.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical understanding of renewable energy finance, direct experience with tax equity structures, and a background in investment banking, project finance, or infrastructure finance. This is a high-visibility role with strong potential for professional growth and leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead or support the execution of project-level and portfolio-level financings, including tax equity, term debt, and construction financing.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and structuring scenarios.
• Manage relationships with financing counterparties including banks, tax equity investors, advisors, and legal counsel.
• Negotiate term sheets, financing agreements, and closing documentation.
• Perform credit and market analysis to evaluate financing options and risk profiles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including development, legal, accounting, and engineering.
• Monitor capital markets trends and policy developments impacting renewable energy finance.
• Assist in the evaluation of corporate-level financing strategies, including revolving credit facilities or future capital raises.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus).
• 3-5+ years of experience in renewable energy finance, with a strong focus on tax equity, structured finance, or investment banking.
• Deep understanding of tax equity partnership structures, return profiles, and accounting/tax implications.
• Strong technical proficiency in financial modeling and project valuation.
• Proven track record of managing transactions from origination through close.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.<br>
Work Environment & Schedule
• Hybrid schedule: [e.g. 2-3 days per week in office at City, State; 2-3 days remote].
• Occasional travel required to meet with investors, attend closings, or visit project sites.
