• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics to assess organisational performance.
• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Support business growth initiatives by evaluating potential investments and risks.
Profile
A successful Finance Director should have:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications.
• Proven expertise in financial management within the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
• Experience in strategic planning and managing large-scale budgets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Leadership capabilities to manage and motivate a finance team effectively.
