Responsibilities
• Serve on two-person drone and field crews tasked with field-locating potential oil and gas wells.

• Use equipment including GPS units, drones, magnetometer sensors, UTVs, handheld metal detectors, and shovels.

• Load/unload UTV onto/off trailer, tow trailer, and navigate in tight areas (with spotter) as needed.

• Perform drone aerial surveys and environmental monitoring and sampling at sites, including refineries.
,
• Oversee contractors on various projects in market areas such as refineries, civil infrastructure, and waste management.

• Complete field documentation promptly, including job safety analysis (JSA) forms and project field reports.

• Review and understand project plans, specifications, and change orders.
,
• Perform scheduled tests, observations, and inspections according to project requirements.
,
• Collect data through research and file review, and perform computations using software or established methods.

• Operate various types of field equipment, including GPS and data loggers, and document field activities.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.

• 0-2 years of experience with collecting soil, groundwater, concrete, or sediment samples.
,
• Ability to work primarily in an outdoor environment with occasional office work.
,
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally, sometimes over substantial distances.

• Possess a valid driver's license and have a personal vehicle for travel to work sites.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in environmental monitoring and sampling.
