About the position
The Environmental Services Field Technician I (Driver Non-CDL) is responsible for performing operational functions related to emergency response and the clean-up of hazardous and non-hazardous spills. This role involves working in various environments, including confined spaces, and requires the operation of light and heavy equipment to ensure effective remediation and decontamination activities.
Responsibilities
• Perform operational functions relating to emergency response and hazardous and non-hazardous spill clean-up.

• Conduct confined space entry tasks such as manhole cleaning and oil spill cleanup.
,
• Operate light and heavy equipment including roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, and forklifts.
,
• Respond to customer spills and emergencies during and after business hours.
,
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections.
,
• Maintain vehicle logs and perform general housekeeping duties.
,
• Conduct maintenance of equipment and site as needed.
,
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• A valid driver's license is required.

• DOT Qualified to drive vehicles between 10K - 26K Pounds.

• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.

• Ability to use heavy and light equipment such as forklifts and pallet-jacks.

• Skilled in using hand and shop tools and instruments.

• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.
