About the Team
The Field Operations Team leads all customer-facing installations of solar systems, batteries, and electricity meters across all segments, supporting our behind-the-meter strategy. We ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant delivery while managing subcontractors across the broader Specialist Business team. This is where you come in!

About the Role
The purpose of the Field Services Supervisor (Electrician) – VIC is to play a crucial role in overseeing solar, battery, and meter installations, as well as maintenance and repairs across Victoria. This role is critical to ensuring all work is delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards. Other aspects of the role include:
• Supervise and support subcontractor partners, providing technical guidance to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of electrical, solar, battery, and metering work
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance tasks, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
• Independently review planned installation dates and locations, and schedule site visits for the upcoming fortnight
• Conduct regular quality audits on installations and repairs carried out by subcontractor partners
• Conduct routine safety inspections on solar, meter, battery, and EV installations, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
• Foster a safety-first culture among all personnel, including subcontractors

About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar field supervisor role. You must hold a valid electrical licence, issued by Energy Safe Victoria. Other things we’re keen on include:
• SAA Certification is highly desirable. Knowledge of SAA (Standards Australia) certification for electrical equipment used in solar installations
• Proven ability to successfully oversee and manage subcontractor partners
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, by independently reviewing installation schedules and aligning hours to meet business goals and objectives
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and HSE regulations and guidelines
• Demonstrated experience with effectively communicating and collaborating with internal teams, contractors, field technicians, and external stakeholders
