About the Opportunity

The Field Service Technician is directly responsible for providing service and customer support for Solaris products and equipment deployed to oil and gas locations in the United States. Responsible for the daily service delivery and serve as the customer’s primary point of contact in the field. Requires daily travel to customer locations to provide onsite customer support, training, electrical and mechanical maintenance, routine inspection, and operational reporting to ensure successful operation of the equipment.

This position may be located within any of our current basins which may include Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Utah or North Dakota. This list is not inclusive of all potential jobsite locations. Field Service Technicians may routinely be assigned to alternate locations for extended rotations up to 5 weeks.

Primary Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, inspect and repair all equipment and basic electronic control systems on Solaris equipment
• Conduct onsite training for customers operating Solaris equipment and controls
• Perform daily inspections of equipment, including daily visits with customers to ensure superior customer service
• Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair as required
• Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule
• Log all services and report progress to management through Solaris automated operational reporting system
• Utilize and store all equipment safely and properly

Core Competencies
• Able to learn fast and work independently with a self-starter mentality
• Able to work under pressure and in varying weather conditions
• Desire to work in a team-oriented culture, with ability to exercise sound independent judgement to support the customer and the company
• Possesses strong computer skills and knowledge of computer-based programs
• Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills. Will be expected to communicate efficiently with co-‐workers, managers and customers on a regular basis.
• Possesses proficient conflict resolution skills
• Able to adapt to last minute changes and/or priorities of work assignments
• Capable of providing detailed and complete reports and data in an efficient manner

Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in field operations, rigging systems in/out and general maintenance
• Electronic Technician, 2 years (Preferred)
• Oilfield-Related Field Service, 2 years (Preferred)

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
