The operator will be responsible for performing both non-emergency and emergency response activities that deal with biological and chemical materials, ensuring that health and safety protocols are strictly followed. The role demands physical endurance, as the operator will engage in labor-intensive activities in various weather conditions throughout their shift. The operator will also be responsible for operating a range of light and heavy equipment, including skid steers, forklifts, dozers, excavators, and backhoes. Routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment are also part of the job responsibilities, ensuring that all machinery is in safe working order. In addition to equipment operation, the operator will be tasked with loading and unloading equipment from vehicles and trailers, which requires an excellent driving history. The position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and the operator must be able to interpret and follow both written and oral instructions effectively. The company is looking for candidates who are willing to obtain OSHA (40-hour) certification and who can work on an on-call basis as business needs arise. Responsibilities

Requirements
• 2 years of environmental project experience

• Pass a Pre-Employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam

• Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify)

• Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification

• Ability to work on an on-call basis as business needs require

• Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role
