Job Description
NTG Staffing is hiring a Field Project Manager for their Carlsbad, NM office. The role involves overseeing personnel, managing projects, developing technical reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Candidates should have a BS degree in a relevant field, over 5 years of project management experience, and strong communication skills. The position requires travel (about 50%) and the ability to work independently in remote locations.
New Tech Global Environmental is seeking a Field Project Manager for our remediation and site closure service line in our Carlsbad, New Mexico office.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee regional personnel and office management under the guidance and supervision of the Environmental Manager.
-Actively manage projects in a manner consistent with NTG values while maintaining client expectations.
-Develop site specific technical reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
-Provide spill response and remedial action oversight on projects of varying sizes.
-Assist in the preparation and review of various biological surveys, like Special Species Plant Surveys.
-Assist clientele with agency negotiations by providing technical resources and supporting overall regulatory compliance efforts.
-Gather, compile, and present data, independently, or under supervision, for review by the Environmental Manager.
-Communicate effectively through written reports and oral discussion.
-Represent the company in a professional manner.
-Performs all work in accordance with health and safety policies.
-Provide meaningful effort regarding business development efforts in partnership with NTG business development personnel.
-Mentor and provide guidance to junior level staff.
Requirements:
-BS degree in chemistry, environmental science, geology, engineering, or similar.
-5 years plus of experience in project / personnel management as well as technical report generation.
-Possess well developed interpersonal skills and demonstrates excellent communication skills.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Capable of working independently in remote locations and leading a diverse team.
-Travel required (approximately 50%). Though rare, travel can be for multiple weeks at a time.
-Experience in upstream oil and gas processes, equipment, and permitting preferred.
-Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications.
-Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
-Groundwater experience in sampling and well installation oversite is a plus.
