Give Me Trees Trust is one of the largest community based voluntary tree planting and conservation movements in India, having facilitated the plantation and preservation of more than 23 million trees all over the country in the last 45 years, with more than 17,000+ volunteers working all across India, seeks dynamic and motivated professional with relevant experience.

Job Location - Near Mohan Nager Metro Station, Ghaziabad.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to handle their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role.
• Duties & Responsibilities:

Position: Field Assistant
• Conduct regular visits to project sites.
• Arrange transportation, accommodation, and supplies for field sites & field teams.
• Track and ensure the proper usage of equipment and materials at field locations.
• Collect on-site data such as material requirement, stock, inventory and resource utilization.
• Create and update databases for field stock and inventory management.
• Act as a bridge between the field teams and office management for effective communication.
• Manage inventory records and track equipment movement between the field and office.
• Assist in preparing expense reports.
• Support the planning of field activities.
• Assist in organizing training programs and workshops if required.
• Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies required for field operations.
• Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers and update it regularly.
• Ensure the quality of procured items aligns with project requirements and standards.
• Track delivery timelines and address delays or issues with suppliers.
• Conduct regular audits of procured items to ensure accountability and minimize wastage.

Minimum Qualification, knowledge and experience· Graduate with minimum 2-3 Years experience as a Field Assistant. Experience in a similar position with a reputed NGO will be desirable.

Essentials: Smart Phone and interested to travel at project location.
