The Job:
We are working on behalf of an innovative organisation within the regenerative agriculture and sustainability sector to recruit a Farm Auditor and Verifier. This is a field based role responsible for conducting on site verification of agricultural practices, data, and field conditions across farms throughout the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that farming practices align with sustainability and regenerative agriculture standards. Acting as a practical bridge between programme design and real-world farm implementation, the Farm Auditor and Verifier will visit farms, verify field data, assess environmental and regenerative practices, and produce detailed reports supporting transparency and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting on site farm visits to verify agricultural practices against programme standards and requirements
- Assess regenerative and sustainable farming approaches including soil management, crop rotation, biodiversity measures, and land stewardship practices
- Collecting and verifying field data, including soil, water and plant samples where required
- Documenting observations accurately using digital data collection tools and internal reporting systems
- Identify discrepancies between reported and observed practices and provide clear feedback to internal teams and participating farms
- Preparing detailed verification reports outlining compliance status, observations and recommendations will be a key part of the role
- Work closely with farmers, agronomists and project managers to ensure programme standards are understood and maintained while keeping accurate records that ensure the integrity, confidentiality and traceability of all collected data
The Company:
Our client is a forward thinking organisation operating within the regenerative agriculture and sustainability space. They work closely with farmers, industry partners, and agricultural stakeholders to support the adoption and verification of sustainable farming practices. Their programmes focus on improving environmental outcomes, strengthening farm resilience, and ensuring transparency through robust on-farm verification and reporting.
The Candidate:
- Practical understanding of farming systems and agricultural operations
- Strong observational skills and high attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently, including regular travel to farms and rural locations
- Confident engaging with farmers, agronomists, and technical teams
- Experience using digital data collection and reporting tools
- Ability to analyse field observations and produce clear, structured reports
- Strong communication skills with a professional approach to stakeholder engagement
- Degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, Land Management, or a related field
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience (e.g. agriculture, farm auditing, environmental compliance, or field verification) preferred
- Full UK driving licence required
- Willingness to travel regularly across farms and rural sites throughout the UK and Ireland
The Package:
- Salary £45,000

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
