Environmental Graphic Designer – Experienced

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Graphic Designer to join our team at MediaBistro, a leading firm in environmental and experiential graphic design. Our projects span airports, hospitals, courthouses, educational campuses, hospitality, and office buildings—spaces that demand smart, scalable, and meaningful design.

The ideal candidate understands how things are built, consistently designs with scale in mind, and is excited by the opportunity to turn concepts into fabricated realities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design solutions that balance aesthetics, client goals, and constraints.
• Develop and present creative concepts that comply with ADA and relevant code requirements.
• Think dimensionally—designing signage and graphics that work at scale and in context.
• Collaborate with general contractors, architects, fabricators, and internal team members to see projects through from concept to installation.
• Conduct site-specific research and develop strategic design approaches that align with project objectives.
• Contribute insights into structural, spatial, and planning considerations.
• Maintain strong relationships through responsive communication and follow-through.
• Presentation skills internally and externally with clarity and professionalism.
Requirements:
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent design projects from concept through production.
• Strong spatial awareness and ability to think three-dimensionally.
• Expertise in typography, color, and material usage across architectural signage and environmental applications.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and visual.
• A collaborative spirit with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced studio environment and adapt to shifting project needs.
