We are seeking experienced professionals responsible for developing business, leading work of great content, building capacity within the offices so that they are economically sustainable, and mentoring the next generation of leaders in our studios. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the studio and staff by leading the office and building capacity within the four objectives of Leadership, People, Content and Business. They are responsible for all decisions made by the offices. Finally, they are required to live Legacy Design, and be a champion of its implementation in all aspects of the work and practice.

Responsibilities

Colleagues in our role :
• Provide urban design, community design, site planning, neighborhood design, design guidelines, form based / hybrid codes and project management services to a wide variety of private and public clients.
• Serve in a firm-wide leadership capacity in the pursuit and implementation of legacy work through exceptional design, project graphic communication, planning, business development, and project management.
• Act with an entrepreneurial spirit to advance the work and the business.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :
• Master of Landscape Architecture or equivalent degree.
• 3 or more years of experience in a landscape architecture, architecture, urban design, planning or equivalent role.
• Experience synthesizing marketing, personnel, and project management facets of the work.
• Goal oriented, strategic thinker who possesses a global perspective.
• Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
• Project experience should represent a wide range of project types.

Preferred Qualifications :
• Management experience including effective leadership, teaching, delegating, and team building skils.
• Ability to run several programs at once prioritizing with a firm-wide perspective.
• Consistently exercise initiative and good judgment.
• An undergraduate and / or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program.
• Landscape Architecture Licensure.
• Candidates with a master’s degree or dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design, architecture or planning

Compensation

The salary for this position is $65K - $85K depending on experience / demonstrated contributions coupled with an annual pay-for-performance process and discretionary bonus payouts based on the firm's profitability. This position is benefits eligible. Benefits include comprehensive health, wealth, and well-being benefits including company paid medical premiums (employee); a health savings account option; dental and vision coverages; 401K plan with a match; paid time-off including certain leaves; training and licensing financial support. We are an employee owned company; employees are participant owners in an ESOP Trust. This is designed as a long-term retirement benefit, with the employees’ accounts increasing as the value of the business increases.
