Job Description

Jobleads-US is hiring an Executive Leader for Marine Conservation Programs in Charleston, SC. This role involves overseeing research, education, and outreach operations to support coastal communities. Candidates should have a terminal degree and at least five years of leadership experience in related fields, including strategic planning and grant writing. This is a full-time position within a federal network of Sea Grant College Programs.

About Us

Our agency is part of a federal network of 34 Sea Grant College Programs funded through a cooperative agreement by the NOAA National Sea Grant Office. We work closely with government agencies, academia, non-profit organizations, and the private sector to generate and provide science-based information on issues and opportunities that improve the social, environmental, and economic well-being of coastal communities.
Job Requirements
• Terminal degree in science, policy, or natural resources.
• At least five years' experience in leadership of externally-funded research, education, and outreach/extension programs.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, program management, and budget management.
• Success in grant writing and securing funding from diverse sources.
