CommonSpirit Health is hiring an Environmental Service Trainer/Team Lead in Bismarck, ND. The role involves training new hires, organizing workflow, and providing leadership in the Environmental Service Department. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining areas, conducting staff training, ensuring safety standards, and reporting issues. Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Environmental Service Trainer/Team leader provides training and orientation to new hires in the Environmental Service Department. The trainer/team leader will organize workflow and provide leadership to staff. The Trainer/Team leader will also assist in the cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance of both patient care and no-patient care areas as needed and in accordance with the mission and philosophy of St. Alexius Medical Center.
• Conducts and oversees training for staff to include orientation and on-the-job training. Signs off on the competency of new hires and ensures paper work is complete.
• Responds to all emergencies or problems in the department according to established policy.
• Reports mechanical failures or unsafe conditions throughout the Medical Center.
• Follows hospital regulations for infection control to include hand washing.
• Possess skills/knowledge to perform service and operation of equipment specific to age groups-ensures environment is safe.

Job Requirements

Education: Completion of High School Education

Licensure: Must have a valid drivers license to operate riding equipment in Medical Center

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a leadership/management position or equivalent.

Skills: Ability to understand and complete written and verbal instruction
