Job Description
SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an EV Technician in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electric vehicles, including high-voltage systems. Responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance, repairing components, and providing customer service. Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong electrical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills. As an EV Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our electric vehicle fleet. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all aspects of EVs, including high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, charging systems, and control units.
Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on EVs according to manufacturer's specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems using specialized diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace faulty components on EVs, including high-voltage systems (adhere to all safety protocols).
• Perform high-voltage system repairs following strict safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest EV technologies through training and certifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations to clients.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working on EV solutions or a related field (electrician).
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience working with high-voltage systems is preferred (must be willing to obtain any necessary certifications).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
