ESG Manager

Sigma Earth is seeking an ESG Manager for their team based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The role involves developing ESG strategies, managing project execution, and mentoring team members. Candidates should have 5-8 years of experience in Sustainability or ESG, a relevant degree, and strong project management skills. This position requires collaboration with clients and internal teams to enhance ESG services across the GCC.
Role Overview – ESG Manager

We are excited to welcome a skilled ESG Manager to our award-winning team, based in Dubai (with flexibility to be based in Abu Dhabi).

In this key leadership role, you'll help drive the growth of our ESG services across the GCC, collaborating with an expanding team that spans the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

You will play a vital role in scaling our ESG capabilities in the region and ensuring the successful delivery of client-focused projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to develop impactful, highquality ESG strategies and solutions
• Lead the creation of compelling and comprehensive ESG project proposals aligned with client requirements
• Oversee the execution of ESG initiatives, ensuring project goals, timelines, and budgets are met with precision
• Manage detailed project workflows, monitor milestones, and ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Support team development by hiring, mentoring, and guiding junior to midlevel team members
• Contribute to strategic and technical decisionmaking alongside sustainability leadership
• Provide regular updates on project progress, identify risks, and uncover new opportunities for growth
Qualifications and Experience

We're looking for candidates with the following background:
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Sustainability or ESG, ideally with regional GCC exposure
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Management, or a related field
• Indepth knowledge of sustainable business practices, stakeholder engagement, sustainability strategy, benchmarking, and ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD
• Strong understanding of supply chain sustainability and ESG compliance
• Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, develop tailored ESG solutions, and nurture client relationships
• Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, risk assessment, and timeline management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ESG concepts
• Collaborative mindset with a proven track record in leading and motivating teams
• Familiarity with recognized ESG software platforms is a plus
