Codeworks L.L.C is seeking an ESG Data Analyst in Glendale, WI. The role involves leading data analysis and reporting for ESG metrics, working with stakeholders to define structured data, ensuring data integrity, and developing scalable data models. Candidates should have a degree in a related field and experience in data analysis, preferably with ESG reporting. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel and SQL.

We are seeking a Data Analyst to lead data analysis and reporting for ESG metrics for our Client. This role will focus on converting business definitions into structured data definitions, ensuring smooth data extraction from existing systems, and building scalable data models to support ESG reporting needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with ESG metric owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with ESG metric owners and SMEs to define structured data based on business definitions.
Identify and extract relevant ESG data from existing systems to ensure availability and integrity.
Develop and maintain scalable, flexible data models to meet evolving ESG reporting needs.
Define and understand data relationships, formulas, and dependencies for accurate reporting.
Analyze ESG data trends and generate actionable insights to support decision-making.
Develop and document data definitions, methodologies, and assumptions for ESG calculations.
Utilize SQL to analyze and manipulate large datasets (optional but preferred).
Collaborate with business teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in ESG reporting.
Serve as the main point of contact between data teams and ESG stakeholders.
Work on-site in Glendale, Milwaukee to foster strong relationships with ESG metric owners and SMEs.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, preferably with ESG or sustainability reporting.
Strong data modeling skills and experience building scalable, flexible data structures.
Solid understanding of data definitions, relationships, and formulas in business contexts.
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL and Workiva ESG Module is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $35 and $75. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
