Job Description

Erosion Control Central is seeking an Erosion & Sediment Control Inspector for their Edmonton team. Responsibilities include inspecting sites for compliance, issuing reports, and managing client communications. Flex Days - We understand that day-to-day problems will pop up, we offer flex days to help manage that. Responsibilities : Full time employment Inspecting commercial and residential sites for compliance with approved erosion and sediment control plans Issues inspection reports to site operators with corrective actions and timeframes Works with contractors, operators and owners to identify and resolve erosion problems during construction Assess potential impacts of construction activities to wetlands, streams and buffers Provides timely response to client inquiries Manage client communications Regular business hours, with potential evening and weekend work where required Contributing to the team with a positive attitude and a desire to learn Attends all scheduled meetings and required trainings. Maintains all required certifications and participates in continuing education 1 year or more experience in erosion and sediment control design, inspection or installation Professional, positive and outgoing demeanor with excellent relationship building skills. Ability to express yourself clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Ability to perform physically demanding work including, but not limited to, walking over rough terrain, bending, driving and working occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Strong planning and problem solving skills Organized and efficient self-starter, who is results orientated Unquestionable work ethic and ability to work both independently and within a team environment Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Valid drivers license and clean driving abstract Safety oriented Additional Assets Experience reading and interpreting engineering plans/drawing Certified Inspector of Erosion and Sediment Controls (CAN-CISEC) or CESSWI Certification (must become certified within 12 months of hire) Valid safety tickets Ready for a change?
