Job Title: Natural Resources Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Natural Resources Designer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing soil erosion and sediment control measures, assembling permit applications, and performing floodplain and watershed modeling services. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related science field and at least 7 years' experience in natural resources design. Certification in your field of expertise is also required.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing Soil Erosion and Sediment (E&S) Pollution Control plans
• Assembling NPDES and Wetland and Waterway Permit applications
• Performing floodplain and watershed modeling and management services
• Preparing wetland mitigation design plans
• Designing stormwater management systems
• Performing design analyses and calculations
• Developing construction specifications and contracts
• Preparing proposals and managing projects

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related science field is required, as well as at least 7 years' experience in natural resources design. Certification in your field of expertise is also required. Proficiency in technical writing, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, and relevant computer software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Carlson, and BIM Modeling is essential. Familiarity with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission design procedures, federal agency civil design and permitting, MS4 permitting, and Green Stormwater Infrastructure design experience is preferred.
