Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking an Equipment Sales Account Manager to drive sales and develop new business within a designated territory. The role involves strategic account management, increasing profitability, and acquiring new accounts, with approximately 50% travel required. Job Description

This role is the key contact for assigned and prospective accounts to provide effective strategic and tactical sales direction and communications strategies to defend existing business, improve profitability of existing business, and to profitably develop new business. This role is focused on machine sales and complementary films as a segment of the liquid business unit. Implements strategy, business, and marketing plans for assigned accounts including market research, competitive intelligence, product positioning, product line evolution and product innovation.

This role is focused on growth of an assigned territory that includes new account acquisition and share of wallet, with much higher focus on acquiring new accounts in a targeted segment.

This role can sit anywhere in the U.S, but will require approximately 50% travel.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
• Increase business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking
• Deliver strategic and sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned accounts.
• Opens new accounts, expands sales on existing accounts
• Possess a detailed knowledge of Amcor, our products, the industry, and competitive market, enabling the business to solidify itself as an industry leader and fulfil Amcor's Winning Aspiration to be the leading global packaging company (for posting & onboarding, may need to note where accounts will be)
• Manage the complexities of account(s) in support of customer needs
• Build relationships with customers based upon trust and respect with special emphasis on how to connect with engineering leadership at prospective accounts
• Orchestrate and lead key business negotiations, supporting Amcor's interests demonstrating an ability to influence decisions and actions
• Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contribution to the business unit for monthly management reporting
• Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results
• Manages accounts receivable as acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department
• Work with Strategic Marketing to identify, analyze and recommend actions to meet strategic unmet customer needs
• Build highly collaborative relationships between Amcor and your account/s to include: senior leadership, procurement, engineering, quality, operations, sales management, support teams, key Amcor global contacts etc. with a view of enhancing sales initiatives and profitably while meeting customer needs
• Responsible for the management of Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM tool
• Coordinates Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service in support of validation trials and customer trials
• Communicates competitive developments in his/her account base regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and communicates intelligence to management through the Monthly Report system
