The role involves operating a range of light and heavy equipment, including skid steers, forklifts, dozers, excavators, and backhoes. Additionally, the operator will be responsible for performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, as well as loading and unloading equipment from vehicles and trailers. A clean driving history is essential for this position, as it involves the transportation of equipment. Responsibilities
• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following PROS - Pause, Review, Observe, Start

• Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities that deal with biological and chemical materials

• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift

• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights
,
• Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, dozers, excavators, and backhoes

• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment

• Loads and unloads equipment from vehicles and trailers

• Maintains an excellent driving history

Requirements
• 2 years of environmental project experience
,
• Pass a Pre-Employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam
,
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify)
,
• Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification
,
• Ability to work on an on-call basis as business needs require
,
• Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role
,
• Ability to work in confined spaces
,
• Ability to wear a respirator
,
• Regularly lift and carry 50 pounds

• Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments
