SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Utility Scale Solar projects in Texas. The role involves project administration, cost control, and managing project engineers, requiring 3-4 years of construction experience and a relevant degree. Job Description Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the administration of the construction project, assisting the Project Manager in management of the construction project.

This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Texas and will require travel. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Able to perform all Project Engineer job responsibilitiesMaintain cost control ledger and job cost statementsPrepare billings and expedite paymentsEstimate, prepare and negotiate Change OrdersWrite subcontract Change OrdersSet up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC systemPrepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bidsWrite project proceduresReview plans for completeness and accuracyPrepare Purchase Orders and Rental AgreementsSupervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staffComplete other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experienceThorough understanding of plans and specificationsField experience (Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)Effective written and verbal communications skills and organizational skills3 -4 years construction experience1+ years scheduling and estimating experience
