Environmental Sustainability Specialist CDL B

Enviri Corporation is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist CDL B in Des Moines, IA. The role involves safely transporting waste, performing vehicle inspections, and scheduling shipments while ensuring compliance with regulations. A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License is required, and Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred. The position is full-time and requires interaction with customers to manage waste containers.

Job Responsibilities
• Pick up and transport waste using specialized tankers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
• Schedule shipments into or off-site facilities, maintaining accurate records of transportation activities.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with customers, interacting with various levels of personnel to deliver, promote, and collect waste containers.
Requirements
• A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is preferred, but not mandatory; training will be provided for new hires.
• Familiarity with TWIC Card procedures and experience driving box trucks are advantageous.
