Aramark's Environmental Management System (EMS) plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. As an Environmental Coordinator, you will assist the General Manager in implementing and managing EMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001:2004 standards.

Job Description
The Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and documenting activities related to waste prevention and reduction, recycling, energy conservation, and air quality. They will research and update company, federal, and state environmental regulations and policies, and assist in applying them to Glacier Bay Lodge operations as needed.

The successful candidate will also conduct weekly inspections of recycling areas, follow up on corrective action items, and document strengths and weaknesses as appropriate. They will report results to the General Manager and Department Manager, and participate in internal audits for Glacier Bay Lodge within Glacier Bay National Park.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need prior administrative experience, a solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. You will also need to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Prior experience in environmental studies is highly recommended, and you will need to be able to frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms.
