About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Koppers Inc. This role is responsible for promoting and championing Zero Harm and Zero Waste initiatives across all plant operations and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement environmental programs and initiatives to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Oversee the maintenance of the SH&E Management System.
• Collaborate with employees to drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental activities.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in environmental science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in an industrial setting; five years' experience in environmental management preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and OSHA standards.
