This role involves working on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that create sustainable and resilient water supplies.
Responsibilities:
• Performing engineering work in various fields, including water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, pipelines, and pump stations
• Preparing reports, developing plans, preparing specifications, and cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
• Checking performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing
• Assisting with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in wastewater design, emphasizing hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes, and treatment plant design
• Registration as a Professional Engineer
• Application of engineering principles, including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
