Environmental Superintendent

Position Overview
The Environmental Superintendent will oversee and manage environmental compliance and remediation projects, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves coordinating construction activities with environmental requirements, leading a team of professionals, and implementing best practices in environmental management.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee environmental remediation projects
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines
• Coordinate with construction teams to integrate environmental controls
• Lead and mentor a team of environmental professionals
• Conduct site assessments and prepare environmental reports
• Develop and implement remediation plans and strategies
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate project execution
• Conduct training sessions on environmental safety and compliance
• Perform cost estimation for environmental projects

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or remediation (soil cleanup, demo/decon, or habitat restoration projects)
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in construction management and environmental oversight
• Familiarity with USACE guidelines or training is a plus
• HAZWOPER certification preferred but not required
• Experience in soil remediation and cleanup processes
• Ability to conduct effective cost estimation for environmental projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• OSHA 30hr training is a plus
• USACE/DoD contract experience is a plus
